I love Harry Potter, so it was awesome to feel like I was taking Herbology on Monday as I started Herbal Medicine.

The cold infusion smelled and tasted like corn.
We even talked a bit about the mandrake!

And in very Hermione-like fashion I received my grades from Nutrition and the Environment. After getting doing very well on test#1, I got an 81% on test #2 and 96% on my essay – giving me an 88% in my first class. It feels amazing to be studying things that I’m truly interested in!

I bet you could burn a lot of AP taking up Quiddich... maybe we should start a team?

Glad you're having fun and doing so well - I'm proud! :)

Great job! I'm so happy for you and I know what you mean about studying something you're interested in. I'm studying to be a nurse and I can't wait till I get to work in the labor and delivery part of the hospital. Just knowing I'm going to love what I do is inspiration to continue my education.

I love that you're studying this. Aside from the fact that ethnobotany is part of my job, it excites me that you might be talking about things like wormwood (Artemisia spp.) and black spruce and Rhodiola rosea and yarrow...

Have fun!

Awesome! Isometimes feel like that at school too...but seriously, I would LOVE to go to Hogwarts :)

I would love to see a copy of your school reading list...I wonder if there's lots of overlap between our programs or if I'm missing out on some sweet reads!

Congrats on the marks!
